Welcome to the AVIOS website. AVIOS is an acronym for the “Association of Visually Impaired Office Staff”.

The association was formed in 1998 when the Association of Visually Handicapped Telephonists (AVHT) and the Association of Visually Handicapped Office Workers (AVHOW) merged into one organisation.

AVIOS work to support the employment of blind and partially sighted people in all occupations involving office work and/or the use of office equipment.

AVIOS is primarily based in the United Kingdom, but welcomes new members from other countries.
